How I Got Started Playing Money Backgammon
I had a friend who had been playing money backgammon online for a few months. He had told me about it but I didn’t really know if it was a great idea since I didn’t know much about playing backgammon for money or about internet backgammon. So I let him do it on his own until after a few months we played a game and he really took it to me. I mean, he had gotten really good, so I had to ask him why.
That’s when the bragging started and he told me all about how playing internet backgammon had helped him improve his game and how playing in money backgammon games had made him more competitive and more into the game. He was having a great time and wanted to know if I would finally give it a shot.
Well, I was impressed by his new game and when he told me there was free backgammon sites to start off with I figured I had nothing to lose. These days I’m right with him as a serious money backgammon player. Internet backgammon ended up being more than I could hope for. The graphics, the thousands of other backgammon players, and the special features just made it an experience of its own. And, once I tested myself on the free games and won playing money backgammon started to sound like a great idea, and, I have to say, playing for money just adds a whole new excitement to the game.
